Redesign, sew and print @lier library

@unnikristin.k and Anne-Britt will guide you to find ideas and inspire you to find good solutions for your ideas. We would like you to bring one or more items of clothing, fabric, duvet covers, curtains, carpets or anything else in order to reuse your garments.

At the end of the week, we will organize a low-key fashion show for all the cool designer items that we created during the workshop.

Redesign is a good way of thinking positively about the environment. Making your garments to last longer, or even have a new life, will make the value chain of textiles longer. For textiles in general we need to think in two ways: first: where does the textile come from and what is it made of? You have the responsibility to make ethic and environmental choices in your closet. When this is done, you want to think: what can I reuse, redesign and change into something completely different to give your garment another life. And another, and another 😊.
