TWAPS is part of the project RES BIBLIOTHECA 2024/2025, instigated by LIER LIBRARY in 2024.
By using ‘design thinking’, we transform the library of from a space of rather passive knowledge absorption into one of active participation through deliberative democracy. While fields of silence for the absorption of knowledge are retained, artists, librarians, project managers and people from Lier are now also taking part in the boot camp on design thinking, visual thinking and participatory processes. We are thus expanding the way we deal with knowledge and its complex levels.
Up from April 18 to May 2024 at Gilhus Gård, Lier, Norway TWAPS artists Christel Fetzer and Anne-Britt Rage will work on transforming a caravan as a site specific project. This part of RES BIBLIOTHECA is funded by National Library development fund and The Savings Bank Foundation DNB; Thanks goes also to Lier Library and Susana Silvestre. Visitors to join the project are welcome anytime.
TWAPS is asked to work on an outdoor project at GAMLE ORMELET – TJØME KUNST- OG KULTURSENTER. We started the process on April 15th and are aiming for a June 2024 opening. Further informations about this and all ongoing projects will be published here.
